Celebrating Andrew Peña’s Life and Love for Soccer
Andrew Peña was a funny, sweet, spirited boy who loved playing soccer. On November 5, 2005, after a fun-filled afternoon of soccer and playing with his best friend, Andrew died at the age of 10 of a heart condition that had gone undetected since birth. Rather than dwell in the sorrow they feel every day, the Peña family has chosen to relish their wonderful memories of Andrew. The Andrew Peña 6 v 6 Tournament is one of ways they celebrate his life each year with players and families throughout South Texas.
